Country rock’s Jayne Denham, has dropped the official music video for her latest single "Stacks" which is racing up the charts, hitting #4 on the Australian Country Tracks Top 40 after only two weeks. The video premiered recently at The Great American Trucking Show, in Dallas Texas, which she was invited to perform for the second time.
The new clip was directed by Phil Taylor, and saw sponsor Lawrence Livestock Transport come on board, showing another side to the trucking industry and giving recognition to the people that work carting livestock. Featuring a Lawrence Livestock truck, the video was filmed in Maitland and at Sydney Props. It also contains footage from the USA, thanks to Big Rig Videos in the States, whilst still maintaining that real Aussie outback feel.
“I’m so proud of my Director, Phil Taylor, for turning this new video clip around so quickly and in time for my arrival in the USA to perform at The Great American Trucking Show. I’m really pleased that the clip shines a light on some very cool trucks from around the world and cheers on an industry we cannot do without.” –
The last 15 months have been very exciting for Jayne as she has performed at the Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky in March, Red Eye Radio and Women in Trucking events. She has gained a new audience of listeners in the Trucking Community in the U.S., who love the fact that she is bringing awareness to an industry that not many people talk about.
"Stacks" is the first single lifted from Jayne’s forthcoming EP slated for release in early 2018, and was co-written by Jayne, Phil Barton and ACM nominated songwriter, Brian White who also produced the track, which was recorded at Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) studio in Nashville with Jay playing bass. The EP features a mix of country rock and ballads.
With her ability to tell a story that captures the imagination through her songs, Jayne has scored three #1 smash hits in Australia, 6 Top 10 songs in the National Country Charts, all 12 videos have reached the CMC Top 30 as well as 6 Country Music Channel (CMC) and 2 CMAA Golden Guitar Award Nominations.
Jayne has entertained the VIP crowd at Keith Urban's Sydney shows and has been a featured performer at all major Australian Country Music festivals including CMC Rocks, Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, PBR Rodeos, Ute Musters, B&S Balls and truck shows. Jayne released two independent albums 'Sudden Change in Weather' (2008) and 'Shake This Town' (2010) plus ‘Renegade’ (2013) through ABC. The single 'Chick Ute' from the debut album 'Sudden Change in Weather' charted at #2 in Europe and Norway, #4 in Italy, #5 in the Netherlands and Denmark and #12 on the European Country Music Association Chart.
