The largest vintage truck show in the world will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY from May 31 thru June 2, 2018. This is an annual event and national convention of the ATHS. The event moves to different locations each year. Over 1,000 vintage trucks are scheduled to be onsite. In addition to the trucks, there will be 100-150 different vendors showing their wares, a large variety of food vendors, a kid’s area with pony rides and a swap meet.
At this show you can get up close and personal with not only the owners, but the trucks themselves. Several of the trucks on display are literally one-of-a-kind in the world. Some members from across North America will bring as many as 15 trucks to the show. The majority of these trucks are fully restored and many in mint condition.
The show is a family event for young and old alike. Kids can drive a truck in a state of the art driving simulator while older patrons can rent a golf cart to tour the grounds. Free shuttles rotate between the parking lot and event area. There will also be a horse drawn carriage for touring the grounds. Tours to area museums and sites are offered on Thursday and Friday; tickets available for tours only ahead of time. Greg Evigan from the TV show, BJ and the Bear, will be onsite along with the truck he drove on the show signing autographs and taking photos all 3 days.
You can pre-buy a 3-day show pass or purchase tickets at the gate. Daily gate passes are $15 per adult, children 12 & under are free.
